Name: James Mowery on May 11, 2007Comments: I believe that people being treated differently just because they are "rich" or "popular" in the world doesn't mean that laws should be bent or in this case practically broken for one girl who became popular by throwing her body out at guys and acting as she did to gain popularity. It sets a horrible example for kids across the United States, and the World for that matter, and treating her like she is someone special is an outright CRIME in my opinion. If there is any sense of truth and justice in the government we live in, then she should not only be punished, she should be punished more so to be set as an example upon others. James MoweryFlag

Name: Anonymous on May 11, 2007Comments: Celebrities should not be allowed to be above the law. It is a disgrace to our judicial system and also to our nation that the wealthy and famous are not held up to the same standards of crime and punishment that normal citizens must abide by. Don't shame yourself by contributing to this heinous problem. Be a hero and don't give in on this one. Take a stand and prove you aren't biased against regular folk.Flag

Name: Daniel on May 11, 2007Comments: We pay millions of advertisements on drunk driving. We have thousands of people affected by drunk drivers. How many people have to die Due to the effects of irresponsible drivers We've seen Paris Hilton get treated like the President. Because she is a celebrity. We all know she will serve an unfair sentence. Ninety days is not a fair punishment. He served jail time should be a lot higher. She could have killed someone's family. She needs a serious fine and serious jail time. Lets tell America celebrities are just like you and me. This is American where everyone is equal! God bless the United States!Flag

Name: Anonymous on May 11, 2007Comments: I was hit head on at extremely high speeds by a drunk driver who served only 2 days in jail for this crime. His BAC was 3.5x the legal limit and I will bear the marks of his "mistake" for the rest of my life. Paris Hilton consciously thumbed her nose at the law by choosing to violate her probation. The "didn't know" defense is ridiculous as this was something she did with 100% intent and deserves to be punished as such.Flag

Paris Hilton needs to learn this somehow. No one is above the law. She signed, therefore she is at fault and should serve her time.Flag

Name: Alexandria Cruz on May 12, 2007Comments: She needs it. Its time she grows up for her crime. Most people don't get a second chance, and yet she did. It is not because she is rich, it is the fact that after a second offense shortly after the first she messed up. Many people have to stay in jail for a longer time for the FIRST offense. No one should be above the law, especially a celebrity.Flag

How can she think that if people don't have her fame and wealth they must be boring peopleFlag
