This petition is to pledge support for the name of the new skate park on Alex road in Oceanside to be "Michael Prince Johnson Skate Park."
Oceanside has lost one of its brightest and purest souls in Michael Prince Johnson. A literal living legend in the skateboarding community and Oceanside. A true friend to all that knew him.
This individual was very well known in our community and he inspired love and happiness to all those who got to know him. His memory and life deserve to be remembered in the best way Oceanside and our community can offer.
"Prince Park" - dedicated in the remembrance of one of Oceanside's most beloved skateboarders and people. This is what Oceanside, the skateboarding community, and Mike deserve.
Thank You. We Love you Mike!
Rest In Paradise.
Seeing 500 signatures for the Michael Prince Johnson Skate Park feels like a direct testament to how much Mike was loved in Oceanside. To see this many people wanting to honor his legacy is overwhelming and I am grateful for every single person who added their name.

Seeing these names stack up reminds me how much Mike meant to every single one of us. We need to push past the hundred mark today to show the council that his legacy belongs on that park sign.
