Albuterol does NOT relieve my asthma attacks! The epinephrine in Primatene is the only thing I have ever found that works. Armstrong Phatmaceuticals customer service told me last week (10/12/2011) that they do not expect to have an HFA version of Primatene until September of 2012!!! This is a death sentence for me and the other asthmatics who get no relief from Albuterol. Why can't the EPA, or whoever, give Armstrong an extension? Imagine how many 911 calls are just down the road! And how many people who will die? I have no idea who or what Federal Government people to send this to. I've contacted a reporter, Janet Lavelle, for the Union Tribune newspaper here in San Diego. I don't know what to do.
