we heard back from the board and the primary strings program is officially staying put. im honestly so relieved and excited for the kids who will get to keep playing. thanks for backing this because we really did it together.

As a Hopewell Valley resident, I was distressed and saddened to recently learn of the intended elimination of the primary strings class. Primary strings is an institution in our schools and it is the foundation of our esteemed music program. Its loss would have a negative impact on our students, our schools, and our community.
I urge you, our elected board members, to find a way to leave our primary strings program intact, for the benefit of all of us.
This is ridiculous. The music program in this district is the reason we moved here.

My son learned so much in primary strings. It would be a huge loss for all the younger kids coming up.

SO disappointed in the board. Why are you targeting the music department again? Find the money somewhere else.
