Dear Pride Fighting Championships, Please stop allowing your champions to participate in non-title fights outside of grand prix tournaments. It was recently announced that Takanori Gomi will be fighting Mitsuhiro Ishida at Shockwave 2006 in what will be Gomi's third non-title fight in 8 months. This is unacceptable to the fans and an insult to both fighters. If a competitor is not worthy of a title shot, then he should not be facing the champion in the first place. Thank you for your time.
