People should sign this petition because of the unnecessary use of required full school uniforms at a public school. The students at Kapa'a High are already required to wear school uniform t-shirts. I feel other issues should be addressed other than school uniforms. There's already a dress code in place for the students at Kapa'a High School. Instead of enforcing full school uniforms, the school should discipline the students who violate the dress code. On another note, not to mention the financial burden of the cost of uniforms for families. With our cost of living, the price of school lunch, bus fare and families having to purchase school supplies (including paper towel, hand soap, tissue etc). The cost of putting students in basic public school is an economic burden on families, especially families with multiple students attending school. I dont feel that full school uniforms are necessary. And we, the student body of Kapa'a High School, want to be heard.
