| 101 | Heather Boyd | I'm all for wind farms, but not near residential areas. |
| 102 | Lynne Cote | This is about money....not the environment. Many "greens" have the mistaken idea that this will somehow do great things for the environment. It won't. Quite the opposite. To replace one nuclear plant, you would have to destroy hundreds of thousands of f hectares of armland and natural areas. It's all about the subsidies, folks. |
| 103 | william Hay | I am signing on behalf of our company "Old Town Reality Limited"
I am very much concerned about the aesthetic impact of this developement on our beautiful valley and on Wentworth's potential for recreationial and tourism developement.
I am sorry I missed the summer information session but I would like to have more specific data on exactly where the proposed towers are to be located.
This project should be put on hold as the petition suggests and the province should make developing a policy on wind power a priority. |

| 105 | Grant Putnam | I am a supporter of green energy generation. However a project of this magnitude must have provincial imput/regulation with setback regulation being the obvious start in this case. |
| 106 | Alex | I am not signing this position as I do not agree with stopping this proposed wind farm. The idea that a wind farm is not a green alternative is a preprosterous notion. Every wind farm whether it is 20 Mw's or 120 Mw's will assist in removing there equivalent of carbon produced energy. Get the drift here folks, look in the mirror and look at what you are opposing. Lets sacrifice a walk in the woods, so that our children can breathe a little easier in the future. Once we achieve the GHG reduction targets in the future than we can remove the wind farms, but it is an alternative that needs to be implemented immediately. Step out of the way of projects that have beedn accepted, by the parties involved! |

| 117 | Kevin | Converting the winds power to electicity is great but I don't think Wentworth Valley is the place to develop a wind power facility. There's got to be better locations away from residential and recreation areas to set up a wind farm. |
| 118 | Paul Downing | Wind turbines are very large machines whose placement has to be respected in communities throughout Nova Scotia.
Municipalities have a conflict between protecting the rights of land users and owners vs. the needed tax revenue that these turbines provide.
We must be very careful that these rights are protected, and the future development and enjoyyment of our lands is not hindered by these huge structures. |

| 122 | Marcel Vautour | Please be considerate of the existing bike trails and surrounding environment. Makes no sense to me to promote a greener more renewable energy, when not taking the environment into consideration. Promote a more healthy lifestyle and protect the trails! |

| 124 | michel martin | I use that area all the time for montain biking and snowshoeing and am against turning the area into a wind farm.
Thank you

| 125 | Ann Morgan | Wentworth is one of the most beautiful recreational areas in Nova Scotia. Placing Turbines in this area would not only take away from the natural beauty of this area but affect the health benefits of living and enjoying regular physical activity in one of the few ski and mountain biking areas this province has to offer. |

| 130 | W.E.Goodrich | This is a terrible place to site a wind farm. It will permanently mar a scenic valley and cause no end of grief to residents living within a mile of the turbines. A moratorium is definitely in order. |

| 133 | ALAN WILLIAMS | I do not support the buidling of teh energy farm anywhere in the Folly Lake Wentworth area. THis natural area is home to many creatures, and is a natural tourist resort area for beauty outdoors and skiing.. bringing the wind power industry to this region is crazy. I believe the area should be left natural for generations to come.. MOve the power facilities off shore. |
