Garfield Moffatt | We as landowners want to see this project succeed but not at the expense of the local residents, we need consultation not information.

Rebecca Langille | Before any development takes place, in any area, a full independant investigation needs to take place so as to protect the environment , natural habitats and property investments. Most steak holders wish to investiage safe alternatives for energiy usage but not at the unknown costs of health and beauty and positive future of the present region as we know it .

Ian Wilson | I am concerned about the impact this industrial scale power generation will have on the residents and on Ski Wentworth. Once the money is spent to put them up, it will be too late. If they were set back a more reasonable distance from residents it would be acceptable.
| 9 | James S, Oland | This project should not proceed until there has been a full public hearings on the impact of such a large scale project. Further a class four (4) environmental impact study must be done before any constuction can begin.
This will be one of the largest construction projects in Nove Scotia (In the 200 to 300 million dollar area) and it must not be just given a greenwash approval without all stake holders being in agreement. |

Magi Scallion | These turbines would be incredibly disruptive to the community. Not only would they not provide significant employment opportunities (no benefit to the economy), they would also have a negative effect on tourism in the area by disrupting popular cycling and hiking trails.
John Conroy | I feel the proposed wind farm would be too close to Folly Lake and the Wentworth Valley. I am pro- windpower/ renewable energy but not at the cost of residents heath, well being and quality of life. Surely a site can be found for this project with a reasonable set back from homes and recreational property.
Margaret Roberts | I think that this project would destroy all our wonderful trail systems and ski hill. I really think that the Valley is a wonderful tourist attraction the way it stands right now. I don't like the ill effects on health that may happen due to the wind mills. Please don't reck our Valley.
Brian Todd | Wentworth Valley is one of the most beautiful recreation areas in the World, with excellent hiking, mountain biking, ATV, cross country skiing, downhill skiing and snow mobiling. This area is a gem that should not be disturbed by wind powered electrical generation or any other type that would cause the environment in the area to be affected. The idea of the penetration fo light, sound and visual of these units has no place in this unique valley and immediate area.

Nancy Todd | I have concerns about all of the above issues but also about the life of these turbines and what will happen to them after 40 years.
Heather Matthews | I , and my family live in the Wentworth Valley and have a great deal of concern of the intrusion of these proposed wind power facilities into our area.
Anonymous | We are greatly cocerned about the proposal the erect the wind power plant near by our home. We have a special needs daughter with epilepsy and are concerned about her health living in close proximity to this facility.

Conor Scallion | I live within 1 km of the proposed site and just more then 500m from the closest. I am aginst the project. Also, 5 of the turbines would be on the mountian bike trails witch are some of the best in the province and I do not wish to see them destroyes.

Colin Topshee | My home is the Wentworth Valley. We live there to get away from the mainstream and industrial expansion. I would like to see some regulation on projects such as the one proposed for my area, prior to further development.
