We the undersigned support Freeland Historic District in the retention of every house in this unique district and oppose any plans to demolish any historic home in the district. We oppose Jack Preston Wood’s plan to demolish the home at 536 Granberry, re-plat the land into two 25 ft. wide lots, and construct two 4- story architecturally incompatible structures. The undersigned are also petitioning the City of Houston Planning Commission to deny any future request to re-plat due to a portion of the land being located in the 100 year flood plain thus making it undevelopable space.
