Subject: Petitioning to preserve the Sanctity of Marriage.

1. We the citizens of South Carolina, acknowledged by our signatures, addresses and phone numbers attached. Do hereby petition the Honorable Nikki R. Haley, Governor of the great state of South Carolina, to uphold and preserve the “Sanctity of Marriage”.

2. While we applaud your fight, and support to maintain the definition of marriage as being between one man and one woman, we understand the battle may be long and costly. I guess you can say, we will have to put our money where our mouth is. A legal battle over what has long been, not just morally correct, but healthy for our economic system, and common sense, is outrageous. However as citizens of the greatest Country in the world, we will not shy away from fighting the good fight.

3. We understand the cost for such a battle could be devastating to a state the size of South Carolina. We therefore by signing this petition acknowledge hitherto and are willing to do our part to defend our rights.
