Name: Anonymous on Jan 13, 2013Comments: I believe an additional traffic study paid for by an independent and objective source is essential before moving ahead with this project. I didn't realize the Streets of Brentwood project would be so massive - over 1 million square feet on just 20 acres! As a citizen who drives my children to school thru Maryland Farms on a daily basis I'm concerned about the increase in traffic flow and added congestion this development will bring. Lets be sure to develop Brentwood in a smart and sensible way - keeping the charm of the area in mind while voting in developments that will make the area more attractive in a balanced way. Thank you!Flag

Comments: Please protect the nature of our Scales school district. The addition of apartments added by Streets of Brentwood will substantially change the dynamics of our neighborhood school. We need to think twice about letting this happen to an area we all love dearly!Flag -

I know where you live and you aren't even close enough to feel the impact on your neighborhood. The existing projects are more than enough to give us headaches Why not cast a vote for the neighbors who don't want this in their backyard.Flag

Name: Bev James on Jan 14, 2013Comments: This project needs to be put to the citizens of Brentwood for a vote. I think that you will find most of the residents feel this is too much retail and office space for that corner increasing the traffic load. In addition, high density occupancy has NEVER been part of Brentwood... do we want to be Franklin ? I think not.Flag

Name: Jeff Dale on Jan 14, 2013Comments: I oppose the re-zoning of "The Streets of Brentwood" as it relates to allowing for apartment living. We do not need more apartments in Brentwood. This will add to the overcrowding of the Scales school system. What restrictions will be placed on these apartments (i.e. mutliple families living under one roof, just to gain access to Scales school system?). Also, afternoon/evening traffic on Granny White Pike is already unbearable for those of us who live in Foxland Hall, and this new development would add to an already increasing problem. Please slow down and think this through before making a decision that can not be reversed.Flag

Name: Diane Cox on Jan 14, 2013Comments: Traffic impact alone is enough to table thiis discussion. Where is the environmental impact report? It took me 25 minutes to exit the Interstate and Old Hickory to arrival at an appointment on Virginia Way and Granny White! Brentwood is between Cool Springs and Green Hills - do we want to inherit their problems?Flag
