Name: Diane Wall on Jan 22, 2013Comments: When half the commercial office buildings and office spaces are empty on Maryland Way and Virginia Way...Why, do we need more commercial buildings? Our lifestyle in Brentwood does not call for more traffic...they can not widen Granny White, Old Hickory, Franklin Rd, the list goes on!! I say STOP, STOP Now, before this gets way out of hand!! This is not for the residents of Brentwood, who are they trying to fool?! Example: A movie theater now in the plans...when we have already three options, one in Cool Springs, Green Hills and Hundred Oaks. Honestly, a few deep pockets or "wanna be" residents, are the only ones who will be pushing this through. I say "Bless Their Hearts!"Flag

Name: Dorothy Lesch on Jan 23, 2013Comments: For the number of acres to be developed and the number of buildings, square footage to be occupied:, added people, both residential and office personnel, the traffic in Brentwood will be astronomical and will be not moving due to traffic signals and the degree of congestion.Flag

Name: Alice Hendry on Jan 25, 2013Comments: Brentwood has been built on the low density concept which has allowed our quality of life and property values to maintain at a high level. Building a high density project the scale of the new convention center right in the middle of Brentwood will destroy everything that Brentwood has been built upon. Where is our leadership to protect our quality of life and property values that we have today? The traffic that this high density development will generate will have the residents of Brentwood gridlocked in every direction diminishing the quality of life we now enjoy.Flag

The Streets of Brentwood proposed development will permanently scar our community and forever change the fiber of what makes Brentwood a unique and special place to live, recreate and conduct commerce.Flag

Name: Janet Chaffee on Jan 31, 2013Comments: I try to "Shop Brentwood" to support our town. But there is already so much traffic in Brentwood at times I shop elsewhere avoid the traffic. A project of this scope would bring so much additional congestion it would negatively impact the area. Have you ever tried to drive near Green Hill Mall? This is not what Brentwood is all about.Flag
