We the undersigned, Petition the City of Brentwood Tennessee to:


1. Deny or Delay vote on rezoning for The Streets of Brentwood in order to reduce allowable density of C4 and to reduce the proposed density of this project which is nearly 1 million sq. ft. on 17 acres (new Music City convention center is 1.2million on 16 acres). Delay will allow further study of this high-density proposal containing hotel, apartments, offices, and retail and its impact on streets, schools (with Tapestry 150 additional children), utilities, and city infrastructure. The 250 apartments should be removed since there are 393 rentals at Tapestry under construction in Kroger Center next to Office Depot. If included there will be 643 apartments in the heart of Brentwood.

2. In addition the city needs to conduct a comprehensive Traffic Study independent from studies initiated by the developers of Tapestry, Synergy, or Streets of Brentwood. Comprehensive needs to include Franklin Rd, Maryland Way/Church S.t, Old Hickory Blvd, Granny White, Murray Ln, & I65 interchange.

3. Protect adjoining Neighborhood by including special restrictions identified by the neighbors and presented to the commissioners. Restrictions must be in place prior to the zoning approval vote.
