Comments: I fully agree. This area was so necessary for those of us with more than one small child. A gated area with equipment for small children is a necessity. I was at this park with my 2 children 4-6 times a week, and in it's present condition, I will not be able to take them there alone at all, which will reduce our ability to use the park to 1-2 times a week, if that. And, since we live on the south side of town, we basically have to pass this park and walk several more blocks to get to an appropriate park. It's a huge loss for my family.

Comments: I applaud the city on rennovating the park but am hugely dissappointed there is no longer appropriate equipment for preschool children. This is only made worse by the fact the park is surrounded by schools housing preschool children on virtually sides (Rue, Demarest, Mustard Seed, HCA). All of these schools use CSP to fulfill much needed gross motor time. Without the park, they will need to walk further which will leave them with less time at the park. With this said, please add additional equipment for preschool children.
