The petition

The Premier League is one of the most exciting football leagues in the world. ESPN recognized this when they bought the TV rights for the English League in Asia. However, as the rest of Asia has enjoyed ESPN Asia's coverage of the EPL, ESPN Philippines' coverage of the Premier League has been practically non-existent.

Just on the 19th of August when the first big match of the season took place as Liverpool hosted Chelsea, fans tuned in to catch the game but were left disappointed to find out that ESPN Philippines was not going to be airing the big game. Instead, they were gutted to see that in lieu of that massive game, what has being aired was a "Spelling Bee", which is in all honesty in no way a sport. It would have been easier to take if there was another Live Event taking place but what makes us so disappointed is when such a massive game is traded in favor of a spelling bee or a Pool event which took place ages ago.

This is a call for Premier League fans in the Philippines to voice out their support for a call for more Premier League coverage from ESPN Philippines. Contrary to popular belief, there are a lot of Football afficionados in the Philippines. Let us let our voices be heard and let ESPN recognize the quite sizeable fanbase of Premier League Clubs here in the Philippines. This is our chance to be heard. By supporting this online petition, we hope that the people in charge of ESPN Philippines recognize this and give their audience what they really deserve.

Thank You.
