Update 08/16/2012: Thanks to everyone's efforts. Acharya Balkrishan is released from Jail

We, citizens of USA, with our hearts in our mother land India, are extremely unhappy and disturbed about the present act of central government in misusing of the power in wrongly arresting Sri Balkrishnaji.

It is ironical that government announced his arrest 2 hours prior to his actual arrest. What was the motive of such announcement? Moreover, what does a degree has to do with his passport?

Honorable Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, you are ultimately responsible for the wrong doing in the nation - then why are you taking such an inappropriate, shameful action in arresting Sri Balkrishnaji ? He has helped India beyond words. He is a national hero who has selflessly helped millions of people with Ayurveda treatment knowledge.

Because of him Ayurveda has come in the real light. He has treated innumerable patients with love and success without charging them. He has put forth encyclopedia of Ayuvedic plants.

Government should spend its resources on arresting real criminals in the society and in the parliament who have committed murders, rape and colossal national fraud rather than harassing a simple and noble man like Sri Balkrishana ji.

We strongly request you to reconsider and release Sri Balkrishnaji immediately.
