Stop Predatory Lending In Tennessee

The petition

The Middle Tennessee area is plagued with problems brought on by predatory lending and home foreclosures. In the absence of a cohesive effort by non-profits, government agencies, banks and mortgage companies and others in the mortgage industry, we are asking that a Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America office be opened in Nashville, TN. This office will primarily serve the Middle Tennessee area which consists of the Nashville MSAs 14-county area. However, every effort will be made to serve the rural counties as the need arises.

The Nashville Metropolitan Statistical Area encompasses the Middle Tennessee counties of Cannon, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Macon, Maury, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson and Wilson.
