We support the purchase and building of a Community Center in Pleasure Point.
This is supported by the General Plan under Parks, the Pleasure Point Plan and the Redevelopment 5yr Plan.
This area does not have a meeting space or a place to house community functions for youth and other community members.
The open land on East Cliff Dr, between 38th and 41st Ave would be a wonderful space along the Coastal Trail and overlooking the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary.
Please work with the community of Pleasure Point to help accomplish the goals our County has for this important area of Santa Cruz
