To the Board of Supervisors: I am a Homeowner in the Live Oak area. I am concerned about the unfairness of the Proposed Vacation Ordinance. I am against the Cap and restrictions on a homeowners ability to short term rent in Live Oak only If passed this ordinance will increase the value of those who get the permit and decrease the value of those who do not. If passed homeowners in Live Oak will be unable to pass the right to rent to their heirs. I am concerned about my property values. I am concerned about what I can do with my home if my life circumstances change. I am asking that you apply the vacation rental ordinance equally to the entire county. Please remove the cap and the renewal process. Please make the permit ministerial.
