We, the undersigned, wish to express our concerns to the management of the Powerhouse Museum that the museum premises are being used for a politically motivated group - especially one that promotes an unscientifically supported notion of conspiracy regarding the events of 11 September 2001 - as a venue for their propaganda. The use of a respected institution such as the Powerhouse Museum is lending undeserved respectability to such a group, when there are other venues available to the group which do not provide any unintentional association.

Currently there's NO scientific evidence in support of ANY of the claims made by the group supporting the notion of conspiracy regarding the events of 9/11. If you can find any supporting evidence (that is, without bias and inference) I would dearly like to see it.

A museum taking money from nutcases only makes me wonder what else they will cater to for a small amount of money. We can no longer trust anyone at the museums if this is allowed.

Whilst it is understandable that the Powerhouse administration operate multiple businesses wih different goals, some commercial, some scientific (for example, renting out their spare real estate), obvious or direct conflicts between these interests should be minimised.

These pathetic people bring great disrespect to an institution like the powerhouse, and the use of the venue conveys an inappropriate aura of legitimacy to their views. The Powerhouse is a science museum, not a fantasy museum. These groups masquerade their delusional conspiracy theories of holographic planes, controlled demolitions and missile pods as science, and endlessly repeat erroneous assertions long after their errors have been pointed out and debunked.
It brings shame on an otherwise esteemed institution.
