Comments: I am having a hard time understanding why such a great percentage of the Province's population, which is Portuguese, is being left our with at least 1/2 of prime time Portuguese news program. I for one will not be attending anymore Blue Jays games or Toronto Maple Leafs games. My Roger's cell phones are up for renewal within 4 months, and I will not be renewing with Rogers. And shortly after I will also move my Ipad account to another provider, maybe to Bell where I can watch my games on line. My parents and inlaws are both with Rogers Cable in Toronto, and I will be moving them off to go with Bell Satellite. This came without warning, and it greatly affects the elderly Portuguese population who has been supporting CFMT/OMNI/Rogers for close to 40 years. Remember that it was with our support that you received Broadcasting licenses. Thank you for the good years, but now since you no longer value me as a customer, I will take my business elsewhere. And if you think that I am just but one voice, there are a few of us. Clearly in Advertising, you must have learned that a quiet customer is not a repeat customer. And for every loud complaining customer, there are 6 quiet complainers.

Comments: I am finding it hard to believe that after close to 40 years of commitment from the Portuguese community that you would choose to cancel all Portuguese programming on OMNI 1. Remember that we, the Portuguese, have always supported CFMT/OMNI throughout the years and without warning, you choose to this. Good luck keeping me as a customer in the future. I will take my business elsewhere.

Comments: I truly believe that an informed citizen is one who will better contribute to the well being of our marvelous city. Many people of Portuguese speaking back ground rely on OMNI to keep them informed and connected. Having said that it would be a great injustice to cancel these vital programs, Louisa,Linhares

Comments: OMNI/Rogers please bring back the Portuguese news and programming, my mother who does not understand fluent English whatched the news at 9:30 p.m. which was her way of knowing of what was happening in Canada, Globally and brief news of Portugal/Azores. You are removing probably because Portugese are fewer compared to other nationalities.

Comments: As a business owner and long time customer of Rogers I am very disturbed to hear that after all the support the Portuguese community has given to CFMT Channel 47 an OMNI over the years that cancelling any sort of portuguese programming is even an option this is a true slap in the face to all the Portuguese I strongly suggest that you reconsider this decision

Comments: As a supporter of both your Toronto and Vancouver applications to CRTC, and also of the RTPi application. I am extremely disappointment with the disregard you have shown the Portuguese Community. We are not just spectators we are your clients and we deserve better. Where would Rogers' profit margin be if we all looked somewhere for services. How effective would programming be at Omni then? Not such a small group after all is it? Where programming goes dollars will follow we run our budgets with the same purpose and vision you do. The best service for the buck. Do not regard us as insignificant. You depend more on us than we do on you. Goodbye Rogers.
