    Comments: I am 5'3", 116 pounds, and very fit. I have beautiful features and blessed with beauty...yet, I continue to feel fat and ugly because I'm not "perfect." I stay away from magazines and t.v. shows as much as possible in order to not feed into an ongoing cycle. Yet, it is everywhere. The media saying what I should act, look, and be like. This, unfortunately, influence me a lot. Logic over emotions doesn't always work when you see 400 - 600 implied or direct images a day of the "perfect" body. I hope that someday I don't have to worry about what my children will think of themselves because of this influence. This has more power than you think and is not worth it if you take away the greed in marketing.

    Comments: I used to get a magazine (Seventeen) that has all skinny girls in it. I got really depressed because of it so I threw it out. This media is out of control. I wish I could sit down and read a good magazine...or be able to watch tv or see a billboard with full figured women.
