The marine life in Portland Bay is far too important to lose to indiscriminate gillnetting. I am currently reaching out to local fisheries management to demand a full review of these practices.

Used to pull good snapper out of here all the time. Now nothing. Gillnets are a total disaster for the ecosystem.
My kids love seeing the penguins and whales. Why are we letting some guy destroy our local coastline for profit? This is just wrong.
SHUT THIS DOWN NOW. absolute disgrace what is happening to our bay.
So worried about the marine life here. Please stop the nets.
Needs to be banned before there is nothing left for anyone else to catch. It is common sense.

Get these nets out of the bay. I have lived here 30 years and the fishing has gone down the toilet lately. Stop being greedy.
