“Animals are not ours to test on and do whatever we please! Animals are here for us to cherish, love and have a good time with.” So remembering what I’ve said and next time you go to the store to pick out products for your home think about what had to put into making the product. Use cruelty free products and live a cruelty free life. And never never forget the golden rule (treat others as you would want to be treated) goes not only for human to human relationships. It goes for animal to human relationships too.
Do you realize that 33 companies were approved cruelty free last year? Do you realize that over 50 are still full of cruelty? Well, if you didn’t, realize it and stop the high statistics of cruelty companies. For one thing don’t buy anything that doesn’t say “this product is not tested on animals.” in some way shape or form.
Second of all give animals a voice! They have feelings too! As Ella Wheeler Wilcox once said “I am the voice of the voiceless; through me the dumb shall speak the deaf world’s ear be made to hear the wrongs of the wordless weak.” “And I am my brother’s keeper, and I will fight his fight; and speak the word of beast and bird till the world will set things right.” Listen to her and be the voice of the voiceless.
You may not know this but there is an ugly side of beauty. As George Bernard Shaw once said “The worst sin against our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them. That’s the essence of inhumanity.” What companies advertise isn’t always the truth! What they don’t show is behind the scenes: millions of rabbits, guinea pigs, and other animals maimed and killed annually in crude product tests including the Draize Eye irritancy test and the lethal dose 50. There is no law saying you have to test your product on animals. Also there are alternatives. So inform others and stop the killing of nature’s wonders. |
