To provide training oppportunties to anyone in the community, particularly school leavers, who are seeking further learning experience with the convenience in doing so locally. Could the 'Pye' building (across from Waihi Central School) be the ideal location for a Wintec campus?

Quite possibly, currently there are already computer courses operating there and this could easily expand, facilitating 4-6 more rooms for courses. Examples of some courses that could be held at the the polytech.

- Cosmetology

- Culinary

- Photography/Art

- Media Studies/Studies in communication-Broadcasting

Can this be achieved? Yes! with the demand it canbe a possibility, But we need 'your' demand.
