| 301 | Anonymous | In the country where we live it is important to have local surgeries |
| 302 | Vivian Longland | This is the worst ting that could happen - by public transport it will take me an hour each way to our local city and then extra timing to wherever the clinic is situated. The rapport we all have with our local surgery staff cannot be replicated at polyclinics. Many more people will not "bother to go" - like myself who would have been put off visiting a GP recently because I thought my problem was minor - it turned out to be a severe heart condition. There is even talk of our local polyclinic to be situated at a place not accessible by public transport from our village without having the initial hourly trip to the city and then another half hour from there - RIDICULOUS |
| 303 | Anonymous | ... and we will end up with a similar health system as the one they have in the US, no thank you! |
| 304 | Julie Gillam | why does everything have to be made 'bigger & better'? the medical profession (if they have any input) should know people, especially old or not abled body need help on their doorstep and friendly faces. Also, who is going to pay to transport the patients? many don't have cars and on fixed incomes!!! leave the local GP'S alone! |

| 306 | Anonymous | please do not proceed with this project - it will be yet another failure of this government. Listen to what people have to say for once Labour. |
| 307 | mrs n kenny | in our village, mainly home to elderly people and young families, the local doctor is vital to the community and offers peace of mind. |

| 312 | Mary Niven | This action will completely destroy the patient -doctor relationship in primary care, for which the U.K has been justly proud.
From the financial angle ,and their viability surely there should be a pilot study of poly clinics in one area first. |

| 314 | Anonymous | We have a very good surgery, only a short journey away, if We had to go further my very disabled husband would have to have home visits, he would feel even more isolated. |
| 315 | Malcolm Cole | You have ruined the hospital SERVICE. Its takes me a full day on 3 buses to get to a 15 minute appointment - must be around midday.
Now you are going to destroy the surgeries, and of course add thousands more administrators, presumably again giving them the power of life and death over patients. I nearly died from your ghastly systems - a manufacturer saved me with free medication. Now I may get 5 or more years without medication. How I loath the politicians causing this mayhem! |
| 316 | Alan Bolt | My local surgery @Coningsby,Lincs, gives an exellent service & does all it can to ensure patient care. The last thing I want is Brown the P.M. messing about with any of it. I don't understand why this plan has to be considered at all! No.No,No!!! |
| 317 | Mrs. A..M. Macdonald | Our practice is superb. We have a very good team, automatic 24 hour booking system, Warfarin clinic, Physio on site, and many other benfits. Leave the surgeries alone! |

| 323 | liz machin | My GP knows ME and MY medical history. I object strongly to the idea of losing continuity of care.
Elderly patients need to see a GP who is already familiar with their medical history; a polyclinic could deter them from seeking medical attention. My GP practice is very definitely opposed to becoming part of a Polyclinic. |
| 324 | Anonymous | Another cost cutting exercise where you ignore the general public yet again, roll on the general election, because you'll be out on you're arse!
Not that Gordon Brown Will last that long! |

| 334 | Dr Mandy and Mr Roger HagleyAllison | I care, and the Family, care about everything, non personally. We pray even bad entities can learn good ways and help create an equal, World Peace. Polyclinics will not help heal as effectively as possible and are an unenlightened idea.

| 335 | Lorna Wheeler | I value the services of a GP who knows me and who is a great support during my cancer "journey". The "mix and match ethos of large Polyclinics is not in my interests, or the interests of many people who ,like me, have life limiting conditions. |

| 337 | Diane and John Lindeck | Having a doctor who knows you and has your medical history readily available is essential for proper primary health care |

| 345 | Anonymous | I do not want to see large impersonal organisations , we need focused, personal care for Everyone, young and old, able and disabled. Polyclinics fail to offer the level care needed by communities because they are so large, they are also placed far away from the communities they need to serve, especially those in remote areas or those poorly served by public transport. |
| 346 | Mr & Mrs D. J. DAVIES | |
| 347 | David Edmond Kirkpatrick | I want my local surgery, I need my local surgery. My doctors know me personally and I know them. The last thing I need would be a super surgery, it would be like a supermarket, The quicker you are out the better. No Thank You |
| 348 | Geoff Herbert | The goverment seem set to destro communities, first by closing the post offices, now byclosing the surgeries, what next! |
