To simply put it, private corporations and special interest groups are stealing our say in goverment. Prop 89 was a measure to create clean campaign funding. This is where tax money is allocated to election expenditures and puts a donation limit of a few dollars. This will force candidates to come say hi to you and talk to you. This also means that corporations will no longer be able to buy our candidates and their stances. If a Proposition like this is passed next election it could be a huge stepping stone towards one day ending political corruption. Help keep \'dirty\' money out of politics. Reasons to sign: -Reduce Corporate hand in goverment. -Meet your candidates in person. -Get your candidate to listen to you and not money -media exposure should not effect why a person gets elected. -Candidates elected for their ideas, not size of their wallets
