In the past year there has been many shooting, a death, a block fight instead of a block watch. We have called the police thousands of times, and attempting to have a meeting with the mayor's office. This is a decent neighborhood, many elderly home owners. With the drug sales openly on the corner right in front of a public bus stop, corner store, next door to the public library. We want action...We want to be heard...We were told by a City counsel Representative every time you see a deal call the police...We have... We did and.. We are...One day we called the police at least 15 times in one hour, and when the police left the drug dealer came on to my property "Virginia Pines Apartments" and threatened me "TaRia Sheppard" in front of 20 tenants....He said the police told him I keep calling them.....Well Thank you police....Thank you counsel woman...My reply to the drug delinquent was so what..and I am going to keep calling the police until...you stop...We have a right to have a drug free neighborhood...violence free....I would not back down from the drug dealer and I the people who sign this petition is stating that they wont back down either...Our voice counts..We matter...We vote......!!!
