Barbara douglas | Polegate Town should play their football in Polegate
Tony Pike | Local football should mean local football. Polegate should play at Polegate.

graham boniface | Having played for Polegate Football Club in the past I strongly feel that the club now representing the town of Polegate should be playing at the Polegate Rec.
Richard Puttock | It is about time that Polegate got its local club back and playing in Polegate. Willingdon are a rival club and should paly in Willingdon
Martyn Milligan | Although I have been a previous member of Willingdon football club, they have their home at Huggets Lane and should recognise that Polegate are entitled to return to their natural home.

Mark Anstead | Give the polegate pitch back to a Polegate Team
Steve Mintrim | Having been heavily involved with Willingdon AFC until recent years, including the "birth" of their team that currently plays at Wannock Rd, I find it incredulous that a route given to the youth of the town of Polegate via a sporting activity that is one of lifes levellers and something that they feel attached to is being delayed by what can only be described as people politics ! I call upon the councillors of Polegate Town Council to perform their duty and give the Town an item that it needs. A HOME GROWN FOOTBALL TEAM !!

Richie Smith | Polegate is Polegate.Willingdon is Willingdon, always will be!

Anonymous | Polegate Town FC should play at Polegate Rec, as Willingdon FC play at Huggetts Lane in Willingdon!
russell colbran | I support Polegate Town FC fully on this matter that a town football club should be playing on a town pitch
Adam Wolecki | GOOD LUCK
Mark O'Brien | Good Luck Polegate Town

Anonymous | I really hope that you will be successful. Good luck!!
Anonymous | I feel that Polegate F C should be allowed to play on their recreation ground in their OWN town and not have to look elsewhere for a pitch!
dave hughes | yes they should play. what harm are they doing.
Tim Prentice |
Brian Hepburn | Polegate rec is the home of Polegate FC.Huggetts Lane is the home of Willingdon FC. I understand there was a gentlemans agreement that Willingdon would 'give the rec back' when Polegate reinstated a team. Do the honourable thing Willingdon FC

Dawn Briggs | Isn't it common sense that a football team should be allowed to play at their home ground?
John Arthur | Take the common sense approach. Let Them Play!
Peter Stapleton | Polgate means Polegate, not Willingdon!!!!
Anonymous | It is only right that Polegate Town should play at Polegate Rec
mark ford |
| 134 | Anonymous | ? What has happened to the line markers etc that the council bought with out tax payers money?
I think the rec has been held by cricket club only people for too long. various POLEGATE groups over the years have wanted to use it and have all been turned down. Give it back to the people.
Regards,
Chris |
Shaun Bennett | Polegate Town Council are elected to serve the residents of Polegate. It is clear that this is wanted by the people of Polegate and the interest of the neighbouring village of Willingdon should not in anyway be a priority.
