Nicky Dyson Rooke | i find it appauling that polegate council don't, at the present time, support the idea that polegate town football club should move "back home" You would hope to see support in the local community, There is after all a youth side that play at the rec. Who do they play for when they are older i wonder? Surely having the mens side at the rec is a natural progression?
Gary King | let them play in polegate, there a good side who will do the town proud .

| 56 | Anonymous | As a former committee member, with Eastbourne United prior to amalgamation with Shinewater i spent several years promoting local football.
Now as a resident in Polegate, i feel having a local football team will only enhance the town.
So Access to a suitable Football Ground, within the town its self, would give the Club a springboard with which to grow and also promote youth football. |

Icthus United |
Stephen Andrew |
CHRIS BENNETT | BORN IN POLEGATE AND LIVED HERE ALL MY LIFE. STRONG FAMILY LINKS WITH THE FOOTBALL CLUB. POLEGATE SHOULD HAVE ITS OWN TEAM PLAYING IN POLEGATE AT THE RECREATION GROUND AND NOT A TEAM FROM THE NEXT VILLAGE WHO HAPPEN TO HAVE THIER OWN GROUND ANYWAY
Andy Knight | As a member and now manager for the forhtcoming season, of Dinkum Blades, another Polegate team that would love to be able to play on a pitch in our home town! I fully support your petition to be able tp play at Wannock Road Rec.

Anonymous | i would much like to see a club for the town playing near by and would love to watch the matches throughout the season.
Michael Elgin | As a resident of Polegate I would like the oppotunity to go along and support a local club, whch could also offer facilities to the local youth which are sadly in short supply in the district.
| 74 | roger byrnes | I think it is disgraceful that Polegate Town do not play in Polegate!
I hope the town council think about things and support their local town team and build community relations further. |
john greenwood | as an ex local player i feel that local football should be played within its local community
phil tichbon | i think its nice to see local teams play on their local pitches,
Jason Finch | Local teams need to play on local pitchs. The community of Polegate need to have a football team that they can identify with
Mick Kent | Having just returned to the area from Yorkshire where community football teams are a valued asset. I think that it is right that Polegate has its own team playing on its on pitch rather than another village team playing there. I support their petition
Caz Robinson | I support the return of Polegate Town FC to the only pitch in Polegate
RIchard Brooks | Being involved with Youth Football, having your own pitch gives you something to be proud of. My boys would love to carry on and play for the local side... many of whom are just that... local!
Russell Banks | I played park football at Polegate and support the return of the local team.
Paul Cracknell | Why should a team from the next town have priority over the local team. Where is the support for local sport?
Nicole Franklyn | My family would love to go and watch their father play football up the road. Why have to travel and use an Eastbourne pitch when we live in Polegate and he plays for Polegate Town.
Peter Hay | I have family and friends who play for the team and hearing the story beggars belief. The decision is obvious in my mind. Polegate play in Polegate and Willingdon play in Willingdon. Easy!
Steve Parsons | I fully support this campaign. What message does this give to the younger population of Polegate??
Steve White | This is a local pitch for local people. Why are the council supporting the next village not their own.

Paul Caille | Having been a former Polegate FC player for a number of seasons, enjoying the facilities and having fond memories of the atmosphere that Polegate Rec held, I feel Polegate Town FC should play on Polegate Rec.
David Rogers | Fully support Polegate Town F.C.playing at Wannock Road Recreation Ground.
Kate Bennett |
kevin hardy | any small town or village should give priority to a local team rather than one from out of the area, albeit only a mile or so away. Polegate, give your local youth an opportunity to represent you!.
Geoff Hinton | As a football fan I fully support local teams playing on loacl pitchs
Lee Garland | Polgate Town need to be able to play at their home ground. This is appalling behaviour by Willingdon AFC.
Simon Parks |
Karl Wicking |
Graeme Pawson | As a supporter of local amateur football I agree with the view that Polegate AFC should be the team playing on the pitch in Polegate!!
