| 1 | David Sheppard | I played for the original Polegate team from 1988-2002 and was in the team that were the East Sussex Centenary year Premier Division winners.
Having seen that club having to fold was sad for the Town.
The new Polegate Town FC club formed this season with hopes to return to their rightful home. If this helps convince the powers that be at the Council then please join this petition. |
| 2 | Liam Brooks | To see Polegate Town FC return to Polegate Rec would be of a benefit to the town itself and not just the football team. The town needs its own team and to see them play their home games at Polegate Rec. |
| 3 | Nick MacNeill | Am an Eastbourne UTd supporter, but hope you go up and up and above all a place in your own area |
| 4 | mark standen | i want to play at polegate and have a pitch to call our own! |

| 8 | Rob Tucker | Polegate should return to their rightful home! Its appalling that a 3rd team from outside of the area should have preference over Polegate's front side playing in Polegate. |

| 10 | Anonymous | Please let Polegate Town Football Club return home to Polegate Rec, in Wannock Road. |

| 15 | Mark Likeman | For Polegate Town to progress as a club they must be able to play at Polegate Rec, which they deserve after reforming . |
| 16 | Anonymous | Let Polegate have a side please |
| 17 | Alan Brooks | Having played for Polegate in the early 80's (when home games were played on the Recreation Ground) I can personally vouch for the Community spirit that is created in the town , by being able to support your local football club . |
| 18 | natalie black | a town the size of polegate should have its own team playing on its own pitches, i support this petition greatly. |
| 19 | Sam Bsker | polegate is a town thats big enough to have its own football team and pitches. i support this petiton greatly |

| 21 | Guy Cowan | I am disgusted to hear of such a "Lassaiz-Faire" attitute shown by the council in regard to pitch ownership.
Would it be too much to ask that your only town football club actually play at their REAL and RIGHTFUL home???????
We impore you Polegate Town Council to reconsider a possible costly mistake on many levels........ |
| 22 | Daniel Weston | |
| 23 | Samantha Valero-Gill | Willingdon AFC should play in Willingdon and Polegate Town should play in Polegate. |
| 24 | Gregg Morris | Despite being an ex-willingdon player - the recreation ground in polegate should be polegate town fc ground in the future. It is obvious to see the club is going to be well run and supported, and Polegate should have a team to represent the town. |
| 25 | Anonymous | We have been through somthing similar being kicked off our pitch for the cinque ports in favour of a winter fair.
My sympathies, and good luck. |
| 26 | Louis Dixon | Polegate Town FC should be playing their football in Polegate - so let them back at the Rec!! |
| 27 | Ryan Walton | Give them their local pitch, keep it local, and hopefully we will see Polegate Town progress up the footballing pyramid!!! |
| 28 | David Banks | |
| 29 | Ali Thompson | Restore Polegate Town to Polegate Rec! It would not only be good for the club to have its own pitch, But for the community aswell! It would enable the Polegate community to get behind a team that is representing THEIR area! |
| 30 | Stuart Black | This club was reformed for the benefit of players who wanted to play good football and who value family life. It is important that Polegate TFC have their own pitch to encourage youth development and a greater community spirit. The council should tap into our growing support a give the pitch back to those who want to support the Town. |
| 31 | Pete Murphy | I think in this era of supposed sports development leading towards the Olympics, that a club such as Polegate is being penalised in this manner. When is sport in this country going to be given the recognition it deserves, and the people behind such teams as Polegate given the support by people in authority who are meant to represent their community ! |
| 32 | Chris Frampton | Good luck with your petition from all at Jarvis Brook Football Club. |
| 33 | Andy Diplock | Polegate town FC should rightly play at polegate rec! |
| 34 | Andrew Black | It seems deeply ironic that Polgate Town can't play at Polegate Rec. Just let them play where they deserve to! |
| 35 | Chris Brooks | |
| 36 | Bernard Riley | It sounds like this should not even be a matter for the Council. If Willingdon had a gentlemen's agreement to give the pitch back to Polegate then why haven't they done so? To have Willingdon using their own ground AND Polegate Rec is not right. If there is a Polegate team they should be playing on the only pitch in Polegate, not a team from the neighbouring village. |
| 37 | Anonymous | This is ludicrous. I have lived in Polegate for most of my life and have always been an avid football fan. I cannot believe that the Town Council do not want a Polegate team playing on the recreation pitch, but would rather stick with the third team of a club who has their own ground a mile down the road. Maybe the Polegate Council members who voted against this change actually live in Willingdon! |
