Digimon began when a group of kids around the ages of 8-12 were at summer camp and suddenly were taken into another world called the Digital World. There, they met their Digimon partners, which were eagerly awaiting for them. Puzzled, the kids roamed around the Digital World and came across Digimon that weren't so friendly.

Soon, they discovered that they are the chosen children, also known as the DigiDestined, that works with their Digimon to save the world from evil forces.

 pokemon is about  ash ketchum wants to become a pokemon master so he gose thought the shino region battleing gym leader and gaining gym bagdes with the help of pikachu and other pokemon with their special abillaties
