Xyience, Incorporated is a Las Vegas supplement and energy drink company famous for sponsoring the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC) and many prominent fighters within that MMA league. The company has a history of corruption beginning with the founder Russell Pike stealing the model for the company from John Scott's Nitro, which also was a one-time UFC sponsor. Fertitta Enterprises, owned by the same Fertitta family that owns the majority of the UFC, purchased the company out of a bankruptcy they inspired by providing a bridge loan to keep their sponsor alive that they used to execute a hostile takeover. The Fertittas, who regularly appear on the Forbes 500 list, burned more than 380 shareholders in the company.
