Dear Mr. President

The state of Andhra Pradesh is in flames. Millions with no power, no access to essential services due to the on going agitation by people in Seema and Andhra regions of Andhra Pradesh state against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state to form Telangana state.

We are not against the formation of the state of Telangana. We are against the announcement of this said state without clear vision for future of Andhra and Telangana states.

Now that we know which political party favors what decision, time to hear the people. Let these political parties come up with their visions for these separate states.

We request you to use your power and wisdom to halt the process of the Telangana state formation until the next government is elected in Andhra Pradesh. By this move, every one involved will have a say about the formation of the new state. Let people of these regions decide what they want.

We are a democratic country. Decisions like this should be made with care and consent of the people of these regions. One party with their sight on electoral seats cannot ruin the peace and harmony of entire region. They cannot cause the destruction of property and lives this way.

Until these issues are resolved, we also request you to impose President's rule in this area till the next elections are announced. Let the next election in this region be fought as a referendum for the statehood to Telangana.
