Comments: Great Idea...I wish they would teach personal finance in high school so that they are better prepared and understand the basics of investing, savings, credit cards, student debt, etc.

Comments: Good subject to be taught early in life. The cycles of the market and taking cost into account when investing is another topic that should be taught to people early in life.

Comments: I agree that the new generation should be taught about the dangers of debt, which our generation clearly did not understand. This should however be part of a Financial Management 101 course. Thanks, Anton Tucker

Comments: It is a pleasure to be a part of this endeavour. I read Juggling Dynamite every day and appreciate your knowledge. Good on you for encouraging your son and his friend to implement this program. This program should be across the country in all Secondary Schools.

Comments: Good idea! High school personal money management curriculum should also include creating and monitoring your own cash-flow, cash reserves, car purchases, rent vs own a home, how much and where to save for retirement to be on track, etc. In my area (Seattle, WA) many college bound kids can't fit this type of class into their schedules, they're too busy taking a foregin language, more math etc. or other electives for college prep. These are the basics that everyone should know. Good luck with your initiative, it's worthwhile.
