Comments: Financial literacy was not on any formal curriculum in my generation (or it seems today), fortunately my father felt it important that I understand the world of investment, I owned shares of Brazilian Traction at the age of 7 with money drawn from from my savings account. It took a long time for me to fully appreciate the lessions he was trying to teach but it finally gelled and today I follow the market closely. It has led me to this site and I read Danielle Park daily.

Comments: The global financial system today is levered at least 20 to 1 and there is effectively 20 times more debt than money with which to repay it..... no way out!
