On 10/1/1992 a 5 yr old boy named RYAN ELLIOTT was hit by a car and killed..On outer hwy 18 and Tao rd..His mother Karen placed a cross there in his memory , that she has decorated for every holiday. She was recntly informed that as of 1/1/14' the town of Apple Valley wants it removed.saying it isa distraction to passing motorist. if not removed willingly by 1/1/14 then the code enfforcement will remove i.This poor women lost two of her kids and feeIs lke she is losing her son All over again..She has also made a huge impact on the community withthis cross.please lets allow her to continue.
