Name: Stella Thrace on Aug 14, 2012Comments: "Tell my wife I love her!" ..... Really? ... Are you kidding me. There is NO part of this that is ENTERTAINMENT. What my family has fought and died doing is NOT ENTERTAINMENT. If you want to make a reality show about honoring our troops to raise awareness, you can find another way. Do not trivialize this by making it a reality show. Good God.Flag

Name: Scott Warwick on Aug 14, 2012Comments: I don’t like the idea of portraying war as a game or contest. It is ONLY necessary as self-defense, or defense of the defenseless (Jewish people in death camps, Libyan civilians, Sudanese, Somalis, etc.). War for corporate empire at the expense of tax-payers and working class youth (soldiers) is not a worthy cause. I admire what is proposed to do with the money raised, but good causes can be better served under less offensive circumstances. Muhammad Ali is probably very disappointed with his daughter Laila for participating in promotion of war since he stood on principle and went to jail and was stripped of his boxing title to do so when opposing the draft for the Vietnam War.Flag

Name: Madelyn Hoffman on Aug 15, 2012Comments: I am ashamed of those who conceived the idea for this show and those who ultimately produced it. How dare they depict war as sport, war as fun, war as game? War is the ultimate matter of life and death and needs to be treated with appropriate seriousness. If we saw more of the tragic and brutal side of war, perhaps we'd be much less likely to engage in them. Shame on you, NBC!Flag
