Please Allow Mr. Silva to Loop to First Grade. Our kids love Mr. Silva and are thriving in his class. One of the key selling points of Peabody Charter School for us as parents, was the fact that the Kindergarten teacher would continue onto First Grade with the class. We are now being told that this will not occur. As parents of Kindergarteners in Mr. Silva's class we would like to challenge this decision and ensure that Mr. Silva stays with his current class into First Grade in the 2012/2013 school year. We understand that this is a tough year for Peabody Charter School - let's not take that out on the classrooms of our children and their success and growth in the beginning years of their schooling.
