| 1151 | Shane O'Neil | The producer's cut made no sense what so ever. Please let us see the true work as it was meant to be seen. |

| 1153 | Heath E. Hoy | This film needs to be released by the original artists who brought this creation to life. Clive Barker, in my opinion, is running thin on ideas and needs someone else to do the work. I used to respect Clive Barker and the works that he has done but this whole thing has totally changed my attitude towards Clive Barker. This film needs to be released and in the way that Hal Masonberg wants it to be released. It is his baby and he should be the one feeding it and nurturing it. Not someone trying to get a hand out just because they are already in the industry and has been for so long. Let's give everyone the opportunity to be someone.
Sincerely,
Heath E. Hoy |

| 1163 | Anonymous | I would like to see Screen Gems (the current distributor of CLIVE BARKER'S THE PLAGUE) officially release writer/director Hal Masonberg's cut of THE PLAGUE (known as THE PLAGUE: WRITERS & DIRECTOR'S CUT) to dvd complete with a new hi-def transfer color-timed by Cinematographer Bill Butler. |
| 1164 | John Lee | I support you, Hal Masonberg! |

| 1169 | Nick Detisch | There is an audience for this film! Release it, please! |
| 1170 | Jay Stewart | I just read the article in MovieMaker; wow. What a pathetic debacle. I'd pretty much given up on the horror genre as it seems these days it's almost written by committee, there's no originality of intellect left in the genre anymore.
After reading this article, I'm riddled with curiosity to see the Writers & Directors cut of the Plague. This had better be released.
I, and many other consumers, are getting thoroughly sick and tired of the Hollywood media companies. With the revelations in the article about the massacre of the creative direction of the movie, I have even more reason to boycott these companies and all that they sell. It's re-inforced my position to purchase more Indy stuff. |
| 1171 | björn kappfjell | Would really love to see your film, Hal. Nowadays horror movies only work to your brain, sounds like your film takes its time to pass the guts before it reaches the mind, really have been missing that! |

How 'anything' gets made in Hollywood is a mystery:) Yet alone anything decent |

| 1180 | Dr. Deb | |
| 1181 | Claudio Contreras Franco | |
| 1182 | Todd Algaba | A very interestin story that in the middle of the movie took a turn for the worst and never looked back. I hope you can do Clive Barker some justice. |
| 1183 | Anonymous | The movie I saw left many things unclear, Id love to see the director's vision |
| 1184 | Ryan Olivier | |
| 1185 | Rocky Buckland | I'd buy this. Really, what more do you need? |

| 1189 | Joel Valie | I'm sorry to hear about the unfortunate event that has happened to Hal Masonsbergs's creative vision. Being a director myself I would hope some one would sign My petition. Good luck! Hope to buy your version one day. |
| 1190 | Anonymous | It's a great idea |
| 1191 | Anonymous | I would love to see the writers/directors cut of this movie...it's only fair, do what's right! |
| 1192 | Simon Tittley | damn the man! |
| 1193 | kellie smith | The director is THE DIRECTOR, along with his view and the view of the writers should be told. the only way I found out about the petition because I searched the internet for a damn answer on what the hell the end was supposed to mean. Clearly, I am not that dense, along with however many million people who see this film on video or on sci-fi who did not quite get the ending. This pisses you off more than a Stephen King novel(which is some damn good writing) I like what screen gems did with underworld, but this movie had a lot of potential that got washed down the drain so the majority of the audience 13-18 yr olds could simply understand without using their brain. sadly I am dissapointed with clive barker's version and would actually PAY to see the writer and director cut. |
| 1194 | Anonymous | Good movie, glad to hear there's more to it, too! |
| 1195 | Anonymous | I lways felt there may be something more to the film. |
