Comments: It is a sad day when a filmmaker has to FIGHT just to get THEIR film seen. I support Mr. Masonberg in getting his version of the film released.

Comments: In short, I would pay to see Masonberg's cut and would not pay to see the cut that was stolen from him, massively re-edited and which resulted in an intensely lesser version of the film. Beyond being an ethical move on the part of Screen Gems, given the increasingly ubiquitous interest in Masonberg's cut, the move would be financially rewarding.

Comments: I have seen both and would rather watch The Plague: Writers & Directors Cut. It's message is loud and clear and much more professional than Clive Barkers. I should be out there for all to see.

Comments: Hal, If you want to see some major support for your efforts, then post a thread about this site on the Shocklines.com message board. I have seen them discussing (and knocking) the "Barker's The Plague" there, and I'm sure their community would love to know about your cause. GOOD LUCK! - - Eric

Comments: I've had the honor to see the director’s cut which is far superior to the producer’s version. Its current mutation does not give justice to the hard work of the writers, producer, and cast members involved. No longer allow the artistic integrity of this film to be compromised. Let it be seen as it was meant to be seen.

Comments: Why take a perfectly good steak, grind it into hamburger meat, throw it into a cheap bun, and stuff the fat faces of the public with it People like steak. Feed them well, and they'll thank you for it. Please distributor the more compelling and original version of this film!
