    Comments: I strongly believe that the attacks reported in the media are done by animals that are mistreated and raised in environments where they don't know any better. NOT, all pitbulls attack people, and why don't we ever hear about the other breeds when they attack, and they do! The dogs behavior falls back on the owners and those of us who take good care of our animals and raise them the right way shouldn't have to suffer because of the ignorant, incapable owners that probably raise there children in the same manner.

    Comments: last time I checked, 90% of dog attacks in the bay area were another bread of dog (not pitbulls) also I owned a pitbull and she was the sweetest dogg ever. tell me... what are these people, (that are planning to ban pitbulls), going to do about the ones that are currently liveing as household dogs This is how we need to go about fixing the problem: PEOPLE raise dogs, they are like children to us, but some people abuse them. People need to start taking resposiblity for the human race!!! I can't explain how sad it is to see that people are such sheep! If one person says I am scared so lets kill what scaring us.. all the other "sheep" agree. It is this kind of thinking is why has our country in the place that it is today. If you pesonally do not like a breed of dogs Don't own one.

Owners who train there dog to fight should be fine not the dogs " so if a POODLES BITES ARE THEY GONNA BAN POODLES NO THEY NOT this is right who ever makes this law needs to do more research than what they are doing i have pitbulls an 4 children my children can wrestle ride there backs an they don't even growl at them, but my daughter was bitten by a POODLE an they haven't ban POODLES " SO TO THE RESEARCHER YOU SHOULD DO MORE RESEARCH BEFORE CHOOSING ONE BREED TO BAN "IF YOU WANNA NO THE TRUTH IF YOU GONNA BAN A SPECIFIC BREED YOU SHOULD BAN ALL OF THEM BECAUSE ALL DOGS BITE IF MADE AGGRESSIVE AN TRAIN TO BITE NOT JUST PITBULLS.

    Comments: I don't understand why everyone is against pits they are some of the most loveable and affectionate dogs as long as right. You can have a little ankle biter dog that's treated poorly and is meanier than a pit. I watched a toy poodle try and attack my 90lb. pit my dog looked at him and that was it. I he was so mean he could have bit that dog in half but he's a big baby.

    Comments: these animals should not be punished for human ignorance. I have owned 4 and they are the most gental and loving and loyal dogs i have ever came upon. You are more likely to be bitten by a smaller dog than a pitbull. the only information people hear is negative and from there people form their opinion. it's not fair to these animals for human mistakes.

    Comments: I own two pit bulls myself. They are house dogs, they are my family. I will do anything in my power to protect them. They are being wrongly accused all over the world. The problem is not the dogs, its the owners that are the ones that need to be taken care of. Abuseing and mistreateing them are the reason some of them are aggressive. But does that mean the ones that love there animals and treat them like there own should be the one to pay the price of someone elses stupidity

They are not born fighters, people with their ignorance and ill knowledge of proper training turn some of them into fighters. It is not fair to play god and destroy a species of creatures that are innocent in the matter! Save our animals, if anyone should be stopped, it should be the criminals who breed these dogs to fight! Allow these animals to live , they deserve life as much as any other living creature!
