    Comments: The banning of any breed of dog should stop. It will not help if one breed is banned another one will soon follow the threat of being banned as well until there are no breed of dogs accepted. and I believe blaming a single innocent dog for his breed is like blaminga an innocent man for his heritage. A dog does not ask to be born a pitbull or a rottweiler or what ever breed and neither does a man ask to be born white or black or jewish. So we should stop this injustice and try something better and not wrongly kill a friendly family dog who belongs to a responsible owner.

    Comments: I was forced to move in 48 hours or my dog would have been put to sleep by animal control. He never hurt anyone or anything and has to this day never shown an ounce of aggression. I found an apartment and moved from Miami to Hollywood, FL in 48 hours to save my dogs life.

    Comments: Pit bulls are not all alike. I have had some that act like cats - all they do is sleep and be couch potatoes. Those people who are raising and training them to fight are making a bad name and they should be stopped, not the pit bull family dog. My dog does no harm to my one year old daughter and she steps on him, pulls at him and he just stays asleep. Leave the pit bulls alone - they are not doing any wrong. Get the bad owners of the dogs and leave the rest of us alone.

I think this ban is so senseless, because I thing that they should treat each individual situation individually! Like they do drug offenders, or other crimes! I completely support this petition. I hope that sonn there will be no racism towards any breed. It's just as bad as towards a human.

If the dog did somethindg bad then I could have seen them killing the dog but they gotta stop this nonsense bacause some owner could easily win the case if he/she decides to go to court. I'am currently seeking to buy a pit-bull because i had two and although some of them do behave unruly mine was the best family dog ever.

I a responsilbe owner of two pit bulls and we plan on becoming part of the therapy dogs program. We are together setting a posative example for everyone who is prejudice towards these dogs!
