    Comments: Its not the type of dog, its how the dog was raised. We've changed from being discrimnatory against people to now being discrimnatory to dogs. It isn't fair to people or dogs. These bans should be removed IMMEDIATELY.

    Comments: The same thing is currently happening to my 5 month old pitbull named Pharoah, he is in the PG. county humain society's holding facility until we can get a court date, All of his vet records show that he is from the District of Columbia, so we hope that they release him to my friend who's name and D.C. address is on all of his shot records. This law is ridiculouse and inhumane! I want to help very much get it changed. They need to research poodles and those other small dogs, they can be just as bad and worse!!!

    Comments: I would just like to say that I have owned two pitbulls and neither one of them was ever agressive. What society has done to this breed is horrible and I think the laws need to change. We need to protect this breed just like any other. There is nothing wrong with a pitbull, what is wrong is human society!!

    Comments: Blame the deed, not the breed. Pit bulls have been an integral part of American history for many years. They were War Dogs in WWI. PeeWee, the dog in the Little Rascals was a Pit. Go after the "animals" that breed and train these innocents for their own nefarious motivess.

    Comments: It's not fair to judge all Pitbulls because any type of dog can be vicious. Not all Pitbulls are mean. I think it's the way their owner brings them up and treats them. And that also goes for all dogs. I have a very loving Pitbull who just adores his family and we baby him and give him a lot of love and attention. Even though they are bred to fight, they can also be bred to love. And it also depends on the owner. Dogs are like people and they have needs too.

    Comments: These laws are ridiculous! The dogs are not to blame! I've always had what are considered to be "dangerous dogs" and they've been nothing but loving to everyone. The owners of attack dogs and fighting dogs are the ones who should be euthanized.

    Comments: At first I was worried about having a pit bull .Yet I got him when he was a puppy , and I baby him just like any other dog . Now he is 8 months old and the sweetest dog ive ever owned before he does everything with me , from taking showers , to eating icecream . My only problem is the way people run from him when I walk him . I'll admit he's a red nose and he may look tought but he's the sweetest ting ever . He is the son I cant have !!!

She is the sweetest thing.People stereotype too much.Its all about how the animal is raised.I have 3 children and my 2nd one was bite in the face and took 5 stitches and it wasn't a pittbull it was a boxer.So I feel if the dog is treated right then you have nothing to worry about.Dont label all pits bad animals because really they're very loving.

    Comments: A cop came up to me and my loving pit and said he would shoot him, and he wants all pits gone. How in humane. Two weeks ago a pit was shot down in daylight because it was loose. I want it to stop!
