On December 8th, 2011, Misti Mae Wyno suffered from a pit-bull attack and passed away. She was a loving mother and a wife. I am starting this petition to put a ban on pet owners owning pit-bulls in the State of Georgia. If not a complete ban on the pit-bulls, then at least a type of harness that would prevent dangerous future attacks. Did you know, that 7 deaths occurred in the state of California due to vicious dog bite attacks, with pit-bulls causing 83% of the attacks?(www.dogsbite.org) Pit-bulls are far more dangerous in attack than any other dog. Pit-bulls tend to be thickly-muscled, and have a very strong, stocky body. They are very agressive. In my opinion, I wouldn't consider them a "domestic" pet that a pet owner should keep in ones home. Pit-bull dogs are very short-tempered, and you never know what agression or action they are willing to show to people. Yet, with proper care and instruction, pet owners can still own their breed of pit-bulls.
