Comments: if girls drink. theres no right to blame others. its their choice, and in the worst of the cases, the ppl to blame are their parents. it is so easy to blame artists, but u know what they have their own lifes. they cant worry about everything they do because of what other ppl could do....if they wanna drink, then let them drink. theres NO right to blame Pink, or any other star because of it.

Comments: When I read this article, I was outraged. The writer must have been drunk himself. I dont understand why he chooses to target a young lady who has had a hard life, who is over the legal drinking age, about her having a few drinks. If the writer had watched the VMA's a little closer (he probably was sipping on something himself) he would of noticed the things that male artist were doing. Pink claimed that she was drunk, but male artist such as Nelly walked on stage with his alcoholic beverage and was staggering around stage. But the writer seems to have not noticed that (what a coincidence). Why not target people like Nate Dogg or Dr. Dre who, in their record, tell people to "smoke weed everyday". The writer obviously disregards that marijuana is illegal no matter what! Drinking is legal if you are over 21, which Pink is. Pink was in her legal boundries when she decided to have an alcoholic beverage. I feel that every closed-minded, misogynistic writer should be fired and not be allowed to put people down just because he thinks that he will get more attention. There is a difference between good attention, and bad attention. The writer should draw the line between the two before he states his oppinion nationally.

Comments: It's pathetic to read such an article coming from a professional journalist! The whole press should be ashamed of that, I know I am both as a future journalist and as a music fan. This woman is in serious need of a shrink. The ones to blame are the ones who raped the girls and the girls' parents for lacking on life education. The victims should also be considered guilty cause they were the ones to drink when not legally allowed to. Nobody gets drunk cause somebody told you to. And blaming Pink on what happened is just too stupid! I understand somepeople may be impresses with what their favorite artists do but Pink never told her fans to drink and get drunk, the only thing she did was say that SHE was drunk and she is allowed to show how she's feeling and say whatever she wants, we all are! It's sad to know a terrible tragedy happend to those young girls but that should come out as a life lesson for everybody, teach your kids about life, take care of yourself, don't believe in everything you see or hear and mind your own god damn business!

Comments: PINK IS NOT THE REASON FOR TEEN DRINKING. I HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE THIS BECAUSE, IT WAS THEIR DECISION, SHE DID NOT PUT A GUN TO THEIR HEAD AND TELL THEM TO. tHE TEEN DRINKERS DO HAVE MINDS OF THEIR OWN, I KNOW FROM FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. SAYING THAT THEY DRUNK BEER BECAUSE OF PINK IS LUDACRIS BECAUSE THATS SAYING THE TEENS ARE NOT IN CONTROL.

Comments: I do not believe that pink is responsible for teen drinking. I believe this because if you say that teens drink because pink does then you are saying that teens don't have minds of their own. They are responsible for their own actions, pink did not take a gun to their heads and tell them to drink. Its not her fault, its the teens' bad decisions, which falls back to the parents' values. I'm sorry, nice try but pink is not to blame, you've got the wrong person!

Comments: How dare this writer blame Pink! She is of legal age to drink and has that right!! If you want to blame anyone blame parents! It's there job to raise thier kids not todays artists!!! The media is always looking for other people to blame for the way kids act today, they need to turn it around and blame the parents whose job it is ultimately to raise their kids with the concept of right and wrong!! Point the finger at the right people!! I love Pink! Her music has meaning behind it, more than I can say for a lot of the newer artists out there! GET OFF HER BACK!!

Comments: I don't think P!nk has been around that long! Teens have always drank. The teens in the 60's..who was that blamed on..P!nk! I don't think so. Get real people. Blame it on the parents and their own peers. Its called peer pressure and doing what the hell you want to. No one person can 'make' a person drink. Was Janis Joplin blamed for kids drinking too back then!! Come on. P!nk is an AWESOME person who shows her true self and is NOT worried about what other people think...unlike alot of singers! She does what she wants when she wants. She kicks ASS!!

You are always waiting to something like this happen to take the opportunity to make NEWS of it, ohhh we found someone that we can blame, so people dont blame society, or even the fucking parents....my god, you people have the intelectual capacity of a molusk. later

Well you know what If she wanted to get drunk that was her problem. Put yourself in her position if you got drunk you wouldn't like it if I were you and I would say that you got drunk and totally humiliate you. Comments: I only just arrived back from a 2 week holiday from the south of france when i read the article in question. All i can say is that the writer of the article is obviously a compleat PRATT! I,ve never heard a more pathetic attempt to blame an indivdual for the moral decay of modern society. The fact that PINK has far more talent, personality and charisma than this jounalist could wish to ever own is of course of no relivance Kids have and always will do all the things they should'nt it's called growing up and learning from mistakes. Besides any young person with half a brain will do what they want not what somelse does no matter how much they adore them. I love PINK but that dosen't mean i'am going to start smoking, drinking or become a social menace. If i were the'journalist' in question i would look first at alcohol and tabaco companies deliberatly being allowed to market their products for the teenage age groups, just to line the pockets of 'fat cat' business men and most likely the politicians who allow this to occur. PINK is unique in terms of her music, her personality and just generally who she is. The effects of her amazing music on peoples lives far out weighs the fact that she likes to have a drink on the night of one of her greatest professional triumps. To the 'journalist' in question i say kiss my hairy British Butt you Fu***ing Ar**hole!

Comments: OK, so P!nk admitted to being drunk at the MTV awards, but she also has stomach ulcers that greatly limit her drinking. She's cleaned up a lot over the past few years, and we should all commend her for that, not berate her for her past acts. People need to own up to their own responsibilities, not blame entertainers. Parents are the ones that are accountable for their kid's behavior as well as the sort of media that they are exposed to.

Comments: I can't believe something like the NY Post would blame P!nk for underage drinking. It has been around since we have put an age minimum for liquor. I also can't believe you would think that an artist like P!nk would be aiming at teenage kids. I'm 21 years old, and I listen to P!nk religiously. I just went to one of her concerts, I was just about the youngest one there. You should be ashamed of accusing artists like P!nk of being the cause of underage drinking and rape. I no longer subscribe to your newspaper, and my workplace at the Dartmouth College no longer subscribes either. Your fingerpointing and one sided news reporting will destroy your miserable paper.
