| 154 | don stroud | This happens allover the country. |
| 155 | RJ Mazzaroppi | In the early 60s if you could get to the water you could fish. Moved back here in 05 and couldnt believe they took away all the fishing. Sure they push the charter boats but who can afford that? They even closed tge pier in Miami Beach! Time to do something. |
| 156 | Anonymous | it aint right |
| 157 | Frank Wilbur | We had a similar situation in Ct. Anything to help! |
| 158 | Thomas W. Pate Sr. | There is no reason that public access should be deneighed just because its night time. Many fish are caught at night. |
| 159 | Anonymous | This is happening all over. Good people shouldn't be penalized by the actions of a few. |
| 160 | Aleida Wiese | It is unbelievable! No wonder for much that I looked around, could hardly see anyone fishing anywhere! |

| 165 | cannonball | I too have had some areas that I love to fish get shut down for no reason..it's hard to find the spots along the I.C.W.... I hope this brings some light . |

| 172 | Juan Garcia | |
| 173 | John Light | Many places I used to fish are now closed off. Fishing is great especially for kids! Instead of going out and getting in trouble in such they could be having as great time fishing. |
| 174 | Jimmy Adams | I have complained about this for many years. Because each day that passes there is more and more being done for the boaters and more and more being taken away from the non boaters. It's time someone considered the non boater's needs and desires. Our money is just as important to businesses as everyone elses. |

| 187 | foster brandt | yea th police in this case are just outright rediculous |
| 188 | Amanda Sternberg | I would be willing to pay for a license to fish on the beach at night. |
| 189 | T Devlin | This sounds like something that could have happened behind the Iron Curtain before the Berlin Wall was torn down. |
| 190 | KAS | I moved trom New Jersey where you could fish freely (when it was warm) to Florida in hopes of getting in MORE fishing time, only to find more rules and regulations than with the DMV! Totally ridiculous. |
| 191 | Paul McCracken | I am a true native to south Florida born & raised, and have fished "boatless" my entire life! It is a shame to know that the way that I grew up fishing down here (on beaches, piers, etc.) my children will not be able to do the same due to the "limited fishing areas". Our ocean is not going anywhere, that is the ONLY thing that will never change down here.....why not let people enjoy it! |

| 200 | John Rice | Public access must be preserved for recreation fishing. To whomever reads this, it is my sincerest hope that you will consider this petition carefully and act to reflect it's goal of safe and unencumbered.
Recreational fishing is a healthy and socio-beneficial activity, that many working class people enjoy and also used as a source of nutritious natural food.
Thank you for your consideration and your time.
Sincerely,
John Rice |
