We, the undersigned, believe that physician-assisted suicide should be legal under specific circumstances. These circumstances are as follows: I. Must be a resident of California. II. Has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and less than 6 months to live. III. The doctor has the right to refuse this to any patient. IV. There must be two witnesses confirming the request, one of whom is not a family member. V. The patient must get a second diagnosis to confirm the first one.
