When word of this was release, Ms. Hilton was shocked. She was confused as to how this could happen to her because she is a \"celebrity\". She has made a petition, much like this one, to ask for a pardon from California\'s Governor Schwarzenegger. This can not happen! Too many celebrities and receiving \"slap on the wrists\" for serious crimes that they have committed. This must stop! Men and Women of higher rank in society must not receive special treatment with the law. If you commit a crime you must pay the price. Paris Hilton was charged with a DUI. No, she did not hurt anyone but she could have easily killed someone. Too many people die from drunk drivers in America already, is it safe to let another stay on the road. All who sign this believe that celebrities should not receive special treatment, even though this young lady is not a celebrity. One way to stop drunk drivers is to say NO MORE! We must make an example out of Paris, showing America that drunk driving must stop. PLEASE sign this petition and voice your opinion asking the Governor to NOT pardon Paris
