| 103 | Renee Catacalos | reneecatacalos@verizon.net | Make sure we look at waste in the cafeteria as well as classrooms - teaching kids to properly sort their recyclable trash from an early age would be a life lesson as well as one that ties in with classroom learning! |
| 104 | katherine murdock | kmurdock@umd.edu | Please help the younger generations learn that we all need to help the earth- right now!!
If we are not teaching them this, when will the waste & destruction ever stop? |
| 105 | Alan Mattlage | mattlage@verizon.com | Not will recycling prevent valuable resources to be lost in our landfills, it is likely to protect our watershed by preventing trash from ending up in our sewers and streams. |
| 106 | Elizabeth Arnold | elizabetharnold@earthlink.net | There is so much support for and expertise in this community on recycling, there is no reason not to implement a school-system-wide recycling program without delay. |
| 107 | don Stewart | don@930.com | What better way to teach children then by example.,,,,either good or bad. Schools should be recycling as much as possible and only sell items that can be recycled. |
| 108 | Lise Boorse | lbpianolady@gmail.com | |
| 109 | Judith Barnes | barnhr95@verizon.net | |
| 110 | David DeRosa | davederosa@yahoo.com | THis is exactly the sort of hands-on knowledge that our stduents need. It would be neglectful to allow this gap in their educaiton to continue. |
| 111 | Michele Dudash Fenster | michele.fenster@gmail.com | We need recylcing in our schools asap. We also need to purchase recycled supplies. This is an important message to give to all of our students. |
| 112 | Dana Grabiner | grabiner1@aol.com | I'd like to see composting done as well (we've been composting at our house for 8 years - it makes "black gold" that's great for the garden). What great hands-on environmental lessons the students could learn! |

| 129 | Anonymous | Anonymous | It is deplorable that the Prince Georges county schools contribute in such an egregious manner to the polution and destruction of our planet. It is imperative that you implement a recycling program immediately. Cost should be a concern but it should not be the determining factor. |

| 131 | Jeremy D. Roberts | gtdread@hotmail.com | |
| 132 | Muriel Greaves | Ocgsr1@hotmail.com | Prince Georges Public Schools deserves better than this. |
| 133 | Lorraine Aldridge-Ey | ey.aldridge@verizon.net | Recycling in schools. Just think that with well over 100,000 students in the Prince George's County schools an enormous amount of paper and recyclable cans and bottles are being sent to the landfill. |
| 134 | Patricia O'Leary | PSOLeary@msn.com | We must recycle, we are trashing the planet if we don't. We have only ONE planet on which to live. |
| 135 | Anonymous | Anonymous | I pay my taxes to PG County and I expect the money to be used to recycle and NOT feed the landfill(s). Just do it PG County! |
| 136 | Josephine Rukh-Kamaa | Skamaa15@gmail.com | Waste reduction education should be accompanied with action and the school is a best place to learn to learn the habit. |
| 137 | Anonymous | Anonymous | With the increasing focus on "green" and the recent collection and recycling of old computer equipment at Surratesville High, we need to continue to send a message to our youth concerning the importance of protecting our environment. |
| 138 | Linda Verrill | linda_Verrill@yahoo.com | How can we teach our children to recycle if schools don't participate? It is a large learning opportunity lost. If nothing else, PG County Schools should start recycling for the sake of the children.
Thank you. |

| 141 | terri rutledge | terri362@verizon.net | Please recycle in the Schools!! |
| 142 | John M. Engel, Jr. | jackengel@gmail.com | I was stunned to learn that our Prince George's School do no recycle. Our landfill capacity is limited and eventually we will have to haul our trash to Virginia like many other states.
Please establish a yearly goal for waste reduction and a uniform recycling system at every school. |
| 143 | Stuart Eisenberg | seisenbergww@hotmail.com | |
| 144 | Janet Carpenter | ewx7@cdc.gov | It's not a moment too soon to begin reducing and recycling - Save the planet for future generations! |

| 148 | Matthew Johnson | deepj19@umd.edu | |
| 149 | Lucy Duff` | lucyduff@earthlink.net | The county government set up curbside single-stream recycling. It touts its "green Prince George's" efforts. How can the schools be left out? |
| 150 | Anonymous | Anonymous | Lets practice what we teach. The only problem is finding a way that this incentive will not cost money . but generate money for schools. |
